My name is Hoang Minh Le. I've been a graduate student in Computing & Mathematical Sciences at Caltech since September 2014. I work on Machine Learning theory & applications under the guidance of Professor Yisong Yue.
I am broadly interested in reinforcement learning. A bit more concretely, I find myself gravitated towards the areas of sequential decision making, long-term planning, online learning, and high-dimensional time series modeling.

Brief Personal History
Prior to Caltech, I received a master degree in Cognitive Systems and Interactive Media at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona, Spain) and a bachelor degree in Mathematics at Bucknell University (Lewisburg, PA).
Before the current intellectual pursuit, I worked for several years as a private equity investor at Capital Z Partners in New York City, and prior to that as an investment banking analyst at Merrill Lynch & Co.. I grew up in Ha Noi, Vietnam.
